This case is great for passive cooling. The best thing I like about this case is that it makes contact with the CPU, RAM, PSU and one other thing that I don't remember. Most other passively cooled cases only make contact with the CPU and RAM. In the height of summer, when outside temperatures are around 30-33 degrees Celsius, this case will keep the Raspberry Pi below 50 degrees (45+). in winter it falls below 40 (30+). I never stress tested this passively cooled case as I'm pretty sure temperatures will continue to rise and eventually stall. but I plan to put a temperature controlled fan on the case that will only turn on when the temperature rises to a certain level. An engineer/youtuber named Jeremy S. Cook created a tiny circuit that allows us to turn on automatically. /Turn off the Pi fan with a simple Python script. I will be using this to cool my Pi and I know it will never throttle again even under heavy load. Jeremy S. Cooke kindly sent me his schematic, you can't find this tiny device anywhere, you have to assemble it yourself.
