Review on Circular saw BOSCH GKS 190, 1400 W blue/silver by Mateusz Czyta ᠌
I definitely recommend buying, I didnt notice any disadvantages.
There was a choice between Makita HS7601, (there is also an option with a case) 1200 W, Makita 5008MG, 1800 W and BOSCH GKS 190, 1400 W. The first one is rather weak, although it is possible to put it on a tire. The second, Makita 5008, has a lot of dope, but . you can put it under the table (warranty flies), although there is also no possibility of installing at least on a tire + the price is high (11.000 RUR) . The choice fell on the average price scale, wire length, power and depth of cut. With a Makita 5008MG-210mm blade, the cutting depth is 76mm, only 6mm more than Bosch with a 190=70mm blade. At an angle of 45 degrees, Bosch is beautiful . drank 50mm. They would put a 1400W engine on the Makita HS7601 and take it. And so . Bosch is the most optimal solution. For those who like to criticize.))) Any equipment that is used improperly fails prematurely. There is marriage everywhere. If you are sure that the equipment fails through no fault of the owner, feel free to go to the service. Bosch has a 3-year warranty when registering on the site. As an option, buy more expensive . and there will be no need to swear and claim that they are making slag.
To enhance my review, I have included some photos that capture the essence of my experience.
- Quite good power (1400W) for a manual circular. There is protection against accidental activation. There is a sawdust outlet. Power cord, rubberized 4 meters. With a 190mm disk, washed down at 45 degrees = 50mm. There is a motor brake. The parallelism of the sole to the disk is adjustable! (see second photo). Adjustment bolt, near the lamb of the guide.
- Slightly clumsy assembly by Chinese workers at the factory - the bolts are slightly poked (not all) - the bolt tightening force is incorrectly selected (hello servicemen, then prove that you are not a sheep). There is no case. There is no way to put it on the tire right away. Change the native disc (16 teeth) immediately, at least for the simplest eco Wood series - 48 teeth (it costs about 750-800 rur). Disks of the Standard or Expert series are more expensive, but the quality is higher. You can take and immediately SMT. Although, the disks themselves are often also made in China. Nothing surprising.))) The same Makita HS7601X1 is equipped with one native disk (Japan) + the second China. They show that the quality is the same everywhere. It would be nice to be like this everywhere and in everything .
