I've been struggling with planter's fasciitis pain and heel pain for a long time and discovered oofos flip flops. They are very helpful and save lives. I was interested in these shoes because I have to wear closed shoes to work. I took the women's size 9 first as that is the size of the Oofos flip flops I wear. 9 was not enough. As others have said the shoe is narrow but not side to side of your foot, it basically reduces the space your third and fourth toes have to go through. The return was very easy and free. Decided to order 10 and try. The sizing is still a bit different, which is difficult when shoes are over $100. However, after wearing them for a minute and a half to try them on, the pain in my legs subsided, so I decided to keep them. They are sold as recovery shoes and if I consider them a medical device they are worth the money. If you are just looking for casual shoes I don't think they will hold up very well. I've already made a hole in the upper of outdoor clothing and it rubs a bit on the back of the ankle. But for relieving heel and arch pain, they are very good.
