Looks good but doesn't stick well to my painted walls

Vasya's tape seems good to be. We have used it to create unobtrusive frames for our photos/prints (as we live in a seismic area). However, the tape continues to peel off the walls. I'm not sure if this applies to all washi tape, but we've never had a problem with masking tape. I wish it was as durable and easy to use as masking tape.
