This stand was exactly what we were looking for. It was very easy to assemble (although the instructions weren't very clear, but it was easy to understand) and after the chain went through the bars, it was well attached to the deck. We have three bikes (1 adult commuter, 1 adult mountain bike and 1 children's mountain bike). For a small bike holder this is very good value for money. Update: We've had it for over a year now and it's still holding up. It lies on a mulch base and is exposed to the weather except for the part protected by wheel covers. My son and I now bike 3 days a week and it's easy for him to get on and off both of our bikes and can fit our cable locks through. I'm not sure if it's because he's standing on mulch and not "hard ground" but we have to use the kickstand on his bike to keep him upright.
