Review on πŸ” SORTA Clear 37 Silicone Craft Rubber for Optimal Clarity by Hannah Curi

Don't buy unless you are a pro.

Silicone works if you measure it properly and stir it, it solidifies and hardens in the time specified. For large flat shapes, this is a pretty good option. I wanted to make an undercut shape in a small container. This silicone is very viscous and very difficult to mix without special tools. My arms and hands spasmed, it was like mixing very thick honey. It's almost impossible to pour out in a thin stream and I ended up with huge blisters no matter what I did to fix them. After all, I've spent a lot of money on this silicone and I have molds I just can't use. However, if you are a pro at making many molds, you have a degassing tank AND a mixing machine for you. , it is definitely a good product. Without the bubbles it would be very clear and the thin layers left on my mixing cups were like glass. If you're an average consumer looking to do something for a hobby without a lot of equipment, you'd be better off getting something else. Three stars because it works and is probably best for those who work professionally but didn't get the other two because it was just a bunch of wasted money with a lot of pain and frustration. So here's my warning: if you can't make a flat, thin mold and can't remove the bubbles with a machine, don't do it at all.
