I used the same thick wallet for many years, but now it's worn out. The brand is no longer for sale and I have tried others but they are not big enough. I need a really big wallet! So I bought this set of pencil cases hoping it would work as a replacement - and it did! I put the smaller suitcase in the larger one and can pack all my stuff and more. As a replacement for the credit card slot in my old wallet, I also bought a fairly small credit card case that holds them in such a way that the cards can be easily removed. It fits in a large suitcase with everything else. And there is free space. I just received this set so can't comment on how good it is for travel and whether it's strong or durable. I can say that it is spacious, bright and very beautiful. Like it a lot!
