The pattern on it is just perfect for Christmas and Valentine's Day. The white is a little more translucent, but luckily the stripes help hide that. They hold up fairly well, but as with any rope, if something snags and you pull tight enough, you'll create a hole. We have ordered several colors of this type of leggings (easily around 10 or more) and only one of them has ever gotten enough to make a hole like this. The rest held up well. Another great thing about these leggings is that they are quite stretchy and you can easily wear them over tights in cold weather. I highly recommend and will buy more.
