Carbide cutting edges appear to cut fine, hit a branch in the wood and bent the base metal of the bottom 1/2" shaft at the 1/ 4 inch dovetail blade, then one of the carbide blades broke off again. Can't buy a decent tool from the US at a reasonable price. This set is Chinese garbage. We are sold out, buy our bankers and manufacture right here in the USA.
