This product is pretty good. My TV hangs on the wall, behind it is a niche. With the TV blocking the hole my PS4 would burn out completely if I put it on the bay. Not really the best place to put a PS4 next to a TV and I HATE ugly cables tucked behind walls. With this product I was able to shorten the cable significantly. My PS4 now sits nicely on a shelf across the room where it gets the airflow it needs. About the function of the product: The setup was uncomplicated. Everything worked immediately, no settings and installations were required. I plugged everything in and after about 10 seconds an image appeared on the screen. I booted up my PS4 and launched The Division to check the latency. My wife and I stood around the screen and took turns checking the latency and as advertised I can confirm that there is NO DELAY. Now that I've had the product for a year, I would like to point out that even with direct line of sight (I placed the receiver under the TV so it's pointing directly at the transmitter) I've had signal dropouts from time to time. The image pauses for 30 seconds and reappears. This happens once or twice every few days. If it continues, I just unplug and plug the device back in to fix it. Another problem is that sometimes there are problems with the initial connection. This problem seems to be getting worse a year later. I have to turn it off multiple times within 10 minutes for it to work. I'm not sure if it's worn out or if there's some other problem. I haven't changed my settings since I got it. In general, if he dies, I'll buy another one. I just haven't found anything better for what it does. The price is high, but it works. Hopefully it doesn't die right after the year mark when the warranty expires.
