I remember having these in the 80's. loved her. Then I started doing a perm and ended up throwing it away. Then I didn't feel the need for more than more. But now the days and much older. I'm willing to try different styles, so I don't cut my hair because it doesn't do much for me. Then I thought about it and came right here. Of course they were, lol. I received it today and immediately wanted to try one. Worked perfectly. The tool didn't break and didn't behave as it should. But maybe that's why they came in multiple packages. They are cheap and work wonders for your hair. I leave the set to my granddaughter. I'm sure her mom will get creative with this :) I have a question though. What is the small oblong hole at the end of the little one for? never seen before
