Not waterproof and not even very waterproof.
They weren't even remotely waterproof due to splashing water. I wouldn't even think about submerging the phone in water. I kept it afloat, only kids splashing around and there was still water in the bags. It was also almost impossible to press the lock button while using the phone, lest it just stay on when moved and unable to go to sleep, draining my battery. I don't recommend it. I'm giving it two stars because at least you can hang your phone around your neck and prevent it from becoming completely saturated and not dripping with water.
