My daughter is very petite (always 10th percentile for height/weight) and is 6 years old. She usually wears a 4th size and if she runs small then a 5th size. Size 4-6 thought it should fit perfectly but turned out to be tiny. She could barely pull it over her shoulders! We'll send it back. Either order one size larger or choose another item.
