Review on 🏻 Tobin DW5959 Winking Santa Stocking Cross Stitch Kit - 14 Count, 17-Inch Long by Amanda Castillo

Soo. After many hours of creating this template, I have some of the same complaints as other reviews I've read. The thread is cheap and easily tangled and sometimes just snaps without warning. I ran out of black before finishing the outlines, then ran out of gold before finishing the parts of the ribbon that needed it. THEN I ran out of beads in the fur of Santa's hat. The pattern says it should have red gold and silver beads. My kit only came with red and gold. I had twice as much red as I needed and didn't have enough gold to finish! This is my first time cross stitching and I love it! It was quite difficult to read parts of the template, but I'm always up for a challenge. I showed a few embroiderers who have been doing cross stitches for a long time and they agreed that I'm very conservative with my yarn and there's no reason I have to run away! Overall I think it's turned out very nicely so far, but I'm very upset that I ran out of beads to finish it. Of course I can't find beads of the same color anywhere, so now I'll probably have to pull ALL out and start with beads I'll have to buy elsewhere to make sure I have enough to finish.
