Great little ride!
I got this to replace the CDRW/DVDROM combo drive in my Macbook (I liked the idea of not being able to burn a DVD). It fits and works perfectly, just as advertised. A word of caution for those looking to replace the optical drive in their Macbook: while a fairly simple "surgical procedure," this project is not for the non-technical. To protect your sanity (as well as your Macbook), it's best to follow the instructions I used that a kind soul posted on this site---[.]
