There are many similar folding stools on the market. I bought a similar one for my spare room a few years ago and this one matches my bedroom. Like my other, it has a heavy, durable, soft-lined lid. In fact, the lid is the only essential part of it. The side walls are thin and connected in such a way that they can be easily folded for transport. The assembly is very simple. You simply unfold the sides, insert the bottom panel and slide open the cover. The bottom of this model is not very good. It's super thin and flexible. A stiffer bottom would make the sides more stable. Otherwise, all the craftsmanship here is neat and good. Inside is a simple fabric lining. It has a *strong* chemical smell. I'm also not a big fan of vinyl. My last one was much better. This vinyl looks pretty cheap and doesn't even try to hide how cheap and not leather it is. slightly larger, like 20" x 20" because it holds more without taking up much extra space. I bet other customers are interested in something like this too.
