Very handy for salt and pepper, requires a lot of batteries.
I love the convenience of these salt and pepper shakers. You just pick them up and flip them over and they start grinding. It is convenient to use with one hand, especially during cooking. It seems like an unnecessary feature, but the automatic startup and shutdown is really nice when I'm cooking or my hands are busy in the kitchen. But for some reason everyone needs 6 AAA batteries! Only 12 batteries! Just crazy and wish they were included in the package. I would give them 4 stars if they included batteries and 5 stars if they were rechargeable.
