Didn't work - Ignition Starter

The strap broke when it was first fitted to the switch. The switch starts the engine, but if you touch the key after it's been engaged, the system check light will cycle on and off, just like turning the ignition on and off. I had an old cable and once the engine started it could be removed and the engine kept running.
