This is a pretty solid phone mount. The material is thick and the build quality is good. The jaws of the phone clip are well padded and provide some shock isolation for the phone. I installed it on my bike's 7/8" handlebars and it was loose. I cut a piece of rubber band and it stuck well. Installation is easy as only 2 hex head screws are used as fasteners (wrench included). There is significant spring tension on the jaws, so there's little chance of the phone slipping. I gave 4 stars because of an issue with the 7/8" rods. It's easy to fix but it's a problem. This is a reliable accessory! Update: I installed it on my R1200RT to see if it fits. I have hip belts on this bike and was wondering how the Timenu device would work. It's perfect (for me)! Fits well. Doesn't bother but is fully visible. Very solid. Elegant and easy to access! None giant stalks. There are no anchor points to fail! He stays there!
