Very disappointed as this was dispatched from Revain's warehouse and came in a sealed, pre-opened box. There was no description of the amps when ordering and when the product was received it was only a 0.5 amp unit as stated on the tiny label. It's very small, has a two-piece cable with adapter and a headphone jack to connect two cables, which are very easy to detach. The cables are very light and the connector needs to be secured with tape to keep it from falling apart during use. I'm sure it has something useful, I was expecting something better from Dremel for the price. I would list a price of around $29.95 instead of the $50 I spent even if it were brand new. I would like to point out that this particular device should have only cost $25. I have to return it as it is NOT NEW as advertised. When you press the button to turn it on when the typing speed is set to its lowest setting, it's very slow. This is unusual for Dremel tools. I don't know if this is or should be a bug. None of my other Dremels work this way, leading me to believe that this is a defect and a possible reason it was returned at least once. There was no inner packaging to keep it from rattling in the box, so some packaging materials were clearly missing. Dremel does NOT ship its products separately in a box like this one. Complete with accessories and a wrench that showed signs of use was a small zip-top plastic bag. This is the first time I've been disappointed with a purchase from Revain and I hope someone at Revain reads this. They may offer a partial refund for a USED tool as NEW and the price will be much higher initially. I see that Dremel will be discontinuing this product in the near future as it does not meet Dremel standards. This is a very lightweight device indeed and I'm not sure where I won't recycle the tool in my use unless I decide at some point to etch glass or mirrors. Better invest in a flexible stem nozzle. for the best unit. I have several 395s that have served me well for years. I avoid the big 3000 and 4000 series as the size and weight can quickly strain arm muscles. I think it was made for the kids in the family to do light projects or for little women who can't handle big tools.
