The light looks good and matches the display. However, the buttons on the remote control don't do what they're supposed to. On button turns them on or off, the "Off" button. turns the timer on or off, button 4 makes them brighter, button 8 makes them dimmer, the dimmer buttons do nothing, and the rest of the buttons change the light mode randomly and unreliably - so instead of using the remote to change the light mode, I use the button on the plug to change the lighting mode and it works reliably. The remote works (when pointing to the plug) throughout the room, and while I wish it would work properly when changing lighting modes, it at least dims/brights (albeit with unexpected buttons) and turns it on. on or off
