I'm a mezzo-soprano singer in a metal band with two guitarists and one bassist who like to play LOUD. I sing with clean vocals and should be heard through all the noise from the boys. This microphone does its job very well. I rarely get feedback on this mic - in fact this mic is way better than most mics in the places we play so I often take it with me and swap it out. Really good sound, very rich. quality, and it picks up high notes well when I need to hit them. I am very happy that I bought this as my first professional microphone, I am sure I will benefit a lot from it before I buy a new one. The only problem is that it doesn't have an on/off switch, but I got used to that pretty quickly. my drummer when I'm standing right in front of him, which can be a bit difficult to sound. That's my only criticism.
