First things first after reading the reviews the sharpest grater is for HARD, THICK corns only - not rough skin. The description and instructions say what it is to be used for. The kind of calluses an orthopedist will take care of for you. Mine is in the kitchen for grating root vegetables. I wear wool socks to keep my feet dry. I also use magnesium oil spray on my feet and it dries out the skin a bit. I've tried many different methods to get dead skin off my feet and the second highest grinder (one below the grater) works great. I like the two different sides and both work well with damp warm feet. I finish the process with one of the subtle straighteners. They are very easy to wash off to maintain hygiene. I'll never use a grater, but I've used the same black and blue at least once a week. They are very easy to clean (takes 2 minutes) and work great on dry skin. I still highly recommend them and because they hold up so well I've upped my rating to 5 stars.
