Review on SIM7600A H Communication Telephone Compatible Pi by Brian Barnes

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I finally have internet at home Single Board Computer

used a T-Mobile SIM and my speeds were 26 lower and 10 higher. Revain doesn't allow me to post a link to an RPI board post on how to set this up, so find it here. Go to the WaveShare wiki (google "waveshare wiki"), scroll down under the green "Extensions" heading and click on "SIM7600A-H 4G HAT". In the Related Instructions section, click Configure wwan0 interface for 4G network. To connect it physically, just connect it via USB (not via UART). You don't need to connect it with GPIO headers. There aren't many guides out there for people who don't use this stuff often, so be prepared to get lost if you're new to this. I got it in 30 minutes because I had to research various things. As for the jumpers, mine were removed. The command to connect this service for my service was slightly different than the one in the link. qmicli -p -d /dev/cdc-wdm0 --device-open-net='net-raw -ip

  • SIM7600A-H 4G HAT is a 4G communication and GNSS positioning module that supports LTE CAT4 up to 150Mbps for downlink data transmission. it is quite low power consumption.
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
