Powerful portable speaker, but no assistant support

First, I'll explain the controls that confuse the user manual: the play button is set to play/pause, answer/end call and redialโ€ (double press) and long press. activates Bluetooth pairing mode. - Volume up - long press. Next track - volume down - long press. Previous Track - The infinity key is solely for pairing two speakers in stereo mode. - The power button is for long press only. a speaker with a solid base that can easily fill a room, let alone be heard in the shower. The design is compact and easy to carry, with beautiful fabric speaker covers. The prominent membrane is at the top, which increases the base and is a nice visual touch. The 3.5mm aux port and USB-C charging port are located under a thick, sealed cover on the back under the power button, allowing you to conveniently charge using your existing cables and power banks. (I particularly appreciate USB-C as many accessories still come with Micro-B and I just want to move away from that standard for now) Cons: - Powerful base, maybe overwhelming at times depending on the medium. . If your playback device/application has an equalizer, I suggest turning the base output down a bit if possible. There is no support for a smart assistant at all. There's no way to call Siri or Google Assistant from the speaker, and even if you activate them from your phone, the speaker's mic is unresponsive, forcing you to talk on the phone. For a device you think would benefit from today's smartphone hands-free capabilities, especially in the shower, that's an odd oversight. but only as an audio output; Again, I couldn't call the Google Assistant through the speaker. At least the play/pause/skip buttons worked with the Home Mini. However, the volume doesn't sync to the Home Mini, so the volume buttons on the speaker control the speaker itself, not the Home Mini's output volume, which can lead to volume fumbling on both if the audio is too quiet/too loud. Overall: very good hardware, disappointed with the lack of assistant support. I'll probably leave it as it's still a good speaker at a decent price that I'll put to good use, but I'll still look for something that can support Google Assistant.
