I bought this wireless mouse in late 2014. Now after 6.5 years the middle button finally started sticking and giving problems so I bought another Marathon mouse and now everything is working great again. Two AA batteries are required for operation, so you don't have to worry about changing batteries for 2-3 years. There is an LED on the top that lights up red when the batteries need to be replaced. It's very ergonomic but only seems to be right-handed. My favorite feature is the scroll wheel, you can press the little button next to it and the wheel has to be on a ball bearing because then it becomes a free spinning wheel so you can scroll really fast. my favorite mouse
