Review on Piece Tegu Magnetic Wooden Block by Mike Cooper

Too thin for babies

I gave these stones to my grandson who just turned 3 years old. He knows how to build houses, cakes and robots with his Magna tiles (which he's been playing with for almost a year), but he can't do much with the Tegu set since the magnets are only on the ends of the tiles and The structures you can make with it are very thin. and they fall apart easily if not perfectly balanced. When grandpa helps him build something he gets excited and learns, but this set is way too advanced for a 3 year old. However, he is attracted to tegu tiles, perhaps because they are different and more complex. 14 pieces is not enough to build square houses or buildings as only two strong thick Teju tiles are included in this set. Consequently, I bought 24 more pieces. If you want to buy them, buy a bigger set. I recommend Magna Tiles for toddlers. These tiles will keep the child busy for a long time.
