This material is a little thinner than the 2.5M filter and definitely a little stiffer which is great because it helps your masks hold their shape. Well, anyway, it's great for me. I have three different types of masks and they all work well. I have absolutely no idea what the heck these people are talking about when they say it won't let you breathe! You can definitely breathe easy. Maybe they are used to masks without filters in general. Or a cheap sheet mask from a dollar store or grocery store that you buy for $2.50. Or something like that because, damn it, it's impossible to breathe through that. To me, this is a slightly more breathable filter than the 2.5M filter, which actually means almost nothing. You cut it to fit your masks perfectly. If you've ever had a mask with a removable filter, the only difference here is that you get better protection. You can honestly hardly say you have it. If someone says they are having trouble breathing or that it is preventing them from breathing, the problem is with them, not with this product! Serious.
