Review on 🌬️ Fellowes AeraMax 200 Air Purifier with True HEPA Filter - Eliminate Mold, Odors, Dust, Smoke, Allergens & Germs by Brent Peterson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Well I'm allergic and so is my daughter (my wife doesn't know).

Well it's a bit big, the lights on the panel are too bright and can't be dimmed (for bedrooms) but in auto mode the thing is quiet and works very, very well. With "plasma" on (okay, let's just call it ionization, and if it produces ozone, well, I can smell a faint "thunderstorm" smell.). However, it overcame the dog smell and the mass of children's shoes piling up outside the door. I have a sensitive nose and smells bother me and I have to say the thing works well. It has an activated carbon filter, which of course helps against odors, but the "ion drive" also helps. As for the audio, it should be quiet at low levels, even on the 'boost' setting (or level 2) it's very quiet, but more importantly, the air is still moving. Silent is useless unless there is good airflow and that seems to work well, probably due to the very large surface area of the filter pack. It's all patented, so the filters are worth their price, but when you start counting allergy meds and nighttime nasal sprays - well, it's not that bad! The car, as others have mentioned, appears to actually work (a few pancakes burned out and a red EYE lit up and he put it in high gear - it's in the living room off the kitchen). I recommend this for those looking for a parts filter. at home (except in the bedroom, if the control panel is not covered with anything, then it will be bright). For us we have these in the family room and a couple of Germgardian in the children's rooms. Small hermits are louder, but do not glow. If the guys just made a dimmer for them I would give them 6 stars for value, performance and versatility. However, a few dark stickers will also work. I will buy more!
