Strong hangers - always used them.

These hangers serve their purpose. They are durable for even the heaviest garments (e.g. jeans). I've been using them for years and have ordered more after Christmas shopping. If your closet has double rods at the top and bottom, then the hanger necks are the perfect length. In other words, they don't waste vertical space. Your clothes don't hang too low. I recommend the Quality Hangers Chrome Add-on Skirt/Slack Hanger.
