It wasn't as comfortable as I expected but the more I wear it the softer it gets. I thought it was flannel but the whole outfit is just cotton. It wasn't hot outside when we bought it and Santa's team got stuck where it was folded in the package and ruined one of the shirts. Children's sizes fit perfectly, but women's sizes fit more than expected.
