Works, but for how long?

If you don't use it very often then it's reasonably decent. However, the pattern of these Armor Etch Over N Over stencils is very rigid and customization is limited to every 'pack' you can get your hands on. This can quickly become expensive and limited to what Armor Products can offer. There is no room for your own customization. There are "gaps" but I've tried redesigning one of the characters to leave more negative space and this isn't very doable due to the surface available and can be prone to cracking. This is a nice set of detailed symbols that bring you quite a bit of glass engraving lettering supplies. The stencils are beautiful and wrap glassware almost evenly. It has a rubberized texture, in some places it is difficult to lay evenly and evenly. Which isn't as important as liability. The adhesion just doesn't last long, which is to be expected. Adhesion after the first time will be erased very quickly, you can use it, but not the same as before, and it will get worse. Even with careful and careful placement of stencils, there is still noticeable wear after use, and in some cases, such as B. ribbons, they can easily tear due to the small and precise length of the cut between the characters. As a reusable stencil, however, I am very disappointed. in little more than one use it did what i wanted. While they have their own adhesion, I still recommend purchasing masking tape to hold the stencil and provide a barrier. I' would like to know what can improve or restore their adhesion without damaging them. I'll grab some spray adhesive and see if the one I don't use often holds up. I've used them to etch glass with varying results on regular consumer glass and on things that used thicker tempered glass. When using them on thin glass, use a short brush (or set) instead of a "sponge". The sponge won't be able to detail well. If you are working with thicker glass, it may take a long time, around 1-2 hours. If you use this on thinner glass, keep the brush moving and pointing it in different directions. You can try reusing the armor etch while using it on the same stencil, but I wouldn't recommend throwing it back in the container. It will dry out and stick together if you don't use it quickly. If you plan to buy them. Also consider options such as Other alternatives include glossy A4 printer paper with a self-adhesive surface, and cutting out blank spaces with a printer such as a Cricuit printer (or similar) and vinyl sheets. Circuits are an expensive one-time option, but ask around. You never know who might already have it. Or take a blade and a roll of sticky paper and do it by hand. (difficult but adaptation).
