Review on πŸš™ Himal Outdoors Spare Tire Trash Bag SUV Trunk Organizer for Outdoor Off-Road Recovery Gear - Khaki by Chad Carter

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The bag feels light but is quite good.

Bought for our camper to carry our large outdoor blanket which we like to open up when camping. The carpet gets quite dusty and dirty and would rather be taken outside than bring in all the dirt. The first impression of the bag is that the size is quite large, probably more volume and more than we need, but the price was about half that of the Trasharoo bag. The bag feels well made but the material feels light and although the bottom is lightly padded and the material is double gusseted it still feels a little flimsy. There's a nice drawcord near the top when you lift the top of the flap, which is a nice feature, as well as two drainage holes along the bottom of the bag. This material is in no way waterproof. So if it rains, everything you have in it will most likely get wet. I don't plan on carrying firewood in my bag which I think will be too heavy, maybe a few pieces smaller but not loaded. The mesh pockets at the bottom are a nice touch, but again, I don't think they'll hold much weight. I wouldn't put tools in it, maybe some lighter items. Still play with the straps and perhaps the best way to keep the excess from wiggling once it's in place is to use a couple of extra little velcro straps to secure the excess. The strap material feels light and the plastic buckles appear to be the right size for their intended use. Time will tell if we get much use out of this bag, but we love the idea of taking it with us on our hiking adventures.
