I saw another person review this charge/data cable and they said it works with Sony WH-1000XM4. Based on that recommendation, I bought it hoping it would work. Well I can confirm it works. I've also used it to connect my Samsung A01 smartphone to my computer and both data and charging work. I used the charger that came with my Samsung A01 smartphone to charge my Sony WH-1000XM4 headphones. This is a great buy and a longer cable is much more convenient. Especially for headphones. Because the ridiculously short cable that is provided to you is very inconvenient. I have not made a comparison between the charging cable supplied by Sony and this cable in terms of charging time. So I can't vouch for how fast it charges the headphones.
