Standing desks almost all have a bar running down the center so keyboard trays longer then 11-12" won't really work. This one comes out about 8.25" and you can install it around the bars. It isn't perfectly flush and can't be moved back but the offset is so small it really isn't noticeable. It's large enough to fit a full keyboard and mouse. One thing I like is how simple this tray is. I was able to get the same color wood as the desk and it doesn't have 5 things coming off of it like other trays I looked at.There are a few downsides. I cut myself on the metal plates installing it. The brackets haven't been properly deburred so watch out for that. It doesn't slide very smoothly because the way the brackets are mounted allows some amount of flex. Biggest issue is the screws provided are really cheap. The head of one sheared off while I was screwing it into the desk. I drilled a pilot hole and it wasn't even screwed in all the way before breaking. I can't just replace the screw because now the end of it is permanently screwed into the desk. It only happened to one screw and the tray is sturdy enough that it doesn't make a difference on daily use. Getting quality screws is so affordable I don't understand why companies can't do that especially when the product is $65.If you are looking for a tray for a standing desk this is one of your best options but that's only because there aren't many options. Very usable tray but not awe inspiring.
