In winter I go to the thermal baths. Every year I searched for affordable thermals only to be disappointed. Then Revane appeared! This thermal is exactly what I was looking for. They keep me cozy and warm on cold winter evenings. I would call them "old school" thermos: the familiar cotton blend waffle pattern. I was so happy with them that I bought three more sets after receiving my first one. SIZE: Based on reviews that thermal underwear is too small and because I don't like tight clothes, I bought a size larger than usual. and I'm happy with the fit (not too tight but not baggy or loose). As I didn't receive my usual size I can't say for sure but the sizing seems true to size or slightly smaller than expected but not by much. CONS: 1) Being a cotton blend, they are best for activities where you stay dry. They're great for cleaning the driveway because it's a relatively short job and you can change them if they get wet from snow or sweat. For skiing or other winter sports, I would recommend looking for synthetic fiber base layers that are advertised as "quick-drying" or "moisture-wicking." 2) Colored thermal underwear (purple and green) is lighter than expected. The colors displayed on Revain appear muted, but the actual colors are BRIGHT, saturated colors.
