router with constant signal bandwidth and 4 antennas. However, if you need a WiFi extender, this might be the best solution for the money. Much more versatile, has better dB gain, much larger antennas, and is a lot cheaper than those flimsy little plug-ins that cost up to $50 or more. I use this to get a signal from my home router and repeat that Wi-Fi signal in my detached garage. This device and the router from which it receives the Wi-Fi signal are about 40 feet apart β both are near external windows that are in each other's field of view. With this setup, I went from an unreliable 1-2 bar 15-25MB signal in my garage to a full 150+MB signal - stable 24/7 Smart TV video - for less than US$25 -Dollar. Unit instructions are simple and clear. Just set this up using the same router name and password as the original router. Sure it can be an inexpensive standalone router, but as an extender it's great and very easy to set up. Much better and easier than previous Wi-Fi extenders I've used. Well made and packaged. Love it!
