I have a 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan SXT (V6, 4.0L). The HVAC coupler, originally a molded plastic part, explodes. This plastic part failed 4 times, replacing the plastic part each time. I found this part and replaced the plastic part beforehand. In general, everything is simple and much stronger than plastic. I'll update if this one explodes like the others, but it also failed the stress test. Historically, plastics have failed during towing and when the engine is hot.
