! This is a great brush: soft yet strong, holds great and is a great size for thick coarse thick hair like mine. I bought this brush to replace an old one that fell apart. It took me a while to settle on one because I knew exactly what I didn't want, including hair tangling in the handle, bristles that were too soft or too spiky, a slippery handle. Some of the reviews left on this page for this brush suggested that the handle was too long, or the lugs were uncomfortable, or the bristles were too hard. I decided to give it a try despite these reviews simply because the connection between the handle and the brush itself was seamless and my hair didn't tangle and break. I've been using it every other day for two weeks and every time I like it more and more!
