Review on Pyle Rackmount Distribution Conditioner PCO860 by Michael Vargas

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I wonder if this is a fake.

I seriously wonder if this is fake or a real deal. Pros: It really distributes power and seems to work. Cons: What should have been easy to plug in and screw into the rack wasn't. I had to cut one of the brackets on one side to properly fit a standard sized rack. That was the key: either the Pyle brand didn't know how to tinker, or it could be a fake. Tip number two: It could be a fake. The fee is misspelled on the front. (See pic. This is a chage, not a charger) I've looked at the manufacturer's pics to make sure this applies to all. but no, it is spelled correctly in the marketing material. It's wrong on my device. Note 3 is fake or just crappy quality. I had to screw in a few screws holding it together to fit in the rack with my other gear. At least it works with all of that. I don't know if this really protects against overvoltage. but don't expect to be overwhelmed by the quality. Quality craftsmanship is not the same as craftsmanship! .and again. so bad that I suspect a fake. (For Pyle's sake, I hope it's fake.)

Pros
  • 15-FEET POWER CORD – Distribute power to previously unpowered areas away from power sources, as well as in applications or locations where multiple devices need to be powered simultaneously with an extra-long 15-foot power cord.
Cons
  • boring packaging
