Review on Antenna Chevy Trucks Cadillac Escalade by Matthew Rodenbaugh

The antenna broke off on my wife's 2001 Chevy Suburban. This fix worked great! I highly recommend this product. NOTE for 2001 Chevy Suburban owners: The "black rubber insulating cap" mentioned in step 3 appeared to be glued to the base of the antenna. I removed most of it with a vice, but I had to remove the three screws holding the antenna base, then remove the antenna base and use a knife to cut off the extra insulator cap. These additional steps were very easy to follow and only added about 5 minutes to the installation process. I sawed everything clean until I had the base of the antenna. That's Chevrolet's problem, not this product.
