Everything was going fine until I noticed that the pin holes only go in one direction (parallel to the handle direction). Good designs have 4 pin holes (meaning the mounts can be perpendicular or parallel) but this one only has 2 pins! This makes it difficult or impossible to find an external monitor mount with locking pins. Pooh! Yes, there are cold shoe mounts, but I wouldn't trust them if you were spending dollars on an Atomos Ninja V. Could slip and fall. Arri locking pins/screws are more secure. Ah, the search continues.
