Didn't work at all. Take a risk if you don't buy Apple's original brand.

I took a chance because I didn't want to spend $50 on a genuine Apple adapter. Tried connecting 2 different phones but none was successful. I tried the original Apple adapter to make sure they are phones/TVs. Both phones successfully connected to Apple's proprietary adapter. I took a risk and it didn't work out. Maybe the one I received was defective. Maybe the iPhones were too new. It might work with older iPhones.

Pros

❤Note. Before using, plug the iPhone charging cable into a power outlet to power this HDMI adapter. Otherwise this HDMI adapter will not work!
