Review on Bosch MUM4880 Food Processor: 600W, White/Silver – Versatile Kitchen Appliance for Effortless Meal Preparation by Boguslawa Perkowska ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Reliable product for all occasions, quality on par.

After seriously purchasing MUM4, they were sent to the dump: - Meat processor (also a Bosch) Manual graters, a manual french fries machine, a manual citrus juicer, a stationary mixer, and a blender chopper. I don't need any more juice; MUM4 can easily handle feeding my family of three. You may apply pressure on the juicer or meat grinder without worrying about breaking it, despite its seeming weakness, which was initially a bit embarrassing. I gave MUM5 a try in the cockpit, and it worked just like it does on the ground (only the fifth appears more momentous). There are three discs in the picture, and they are: SET from the ground up. They have tools for chopping and dicing, grating cheese and chocolate, rubbing nuts and cheese, and scrubbing clothes (and who knows what happened to the plant sprayer). You'll need a set of four disks, or dopas, to make French fries, Korean carrots, potato pancakes made from mashed potatoes rather than potato straws, and mashed potatoes with a medium grater and a shredder.

Pros
  • Smaller in size than MUM5. In several cases, it was able to completely replace the prior technology. Calm (in comparison to the previous situation). Simple construction and operation. Can be cleaned in a flash. Suction cups keep it firmly in place; there's no shaking or sliding. The MUM4 series is modular since it uses a single base with multiple variations of specialized stages. If finances are tight, you can save money by purchasing the bare necessities in bulk and building up from there. Yes, it will turn out to be more expensive in the end, but this gives individuals who are on the fence the option to weigh the pros and cons of investing in a combine immediately versus spreading the cost over time.
Cons
  • The MUM5 series is the only ones that can use the cube cutter, and you can't buy one. The basic kit does not include a medium grater. The French fry disc isn't perfectly stable; it wobbles somewhat when in use. The nozzle for Korean carrots can't make the lengthy strips that Koreans do (but then again, I couldn't accomplish that on a manual grater either). The dangers of multitasking: where once multiple tools served various purposes, now just one does it all. If it fails, we'll be completely screwed. Because the blender's knives and contact sleeve are fastened with a single bolt, the blender didn't operate right out of the box. As the blender is used, the bolt is twisted along the thread, eventually coming to a stop. Because disassembly revealed that the bolt's thread length equaled the nut's thickness, I "fixed" it myself. When I took out one of the plastic washers (I assume it was an extra), everything started functioning normally again.

I can not find a nozzle for such a combine that would cut into cubes. Tell me, has anyone found it?
