It's a shame that Sony stopped doing this and the Mavica camera. I have 3 of these - one for each son and for myself; I also have a wonderful Mavika. The best thing about these cameras is the Mavica Mini-CD, which stores ALL the photos and videos, and the DVD650 stores all the videos on a mini-DVD - NO TIME for uploads that interrupt your day. Allows you to continuously take pictures/videos while driving by simply changing the drive or memory card. I hate new annoying digital devices. DVDs or CDs can be instantly loaded into a laptop and viewed in a DVD player. Easy storage or just give to people. I want Sony to go back to DVD and CD type storage. If you like a great camera with versatility and limited features, then this is for you. The company I bought from is great too.
