This is a replacement for the Norelco HQ8505 shaver charger and I have used it with a Norelco Arcitec shaver base. The charger appeared to be charging due to the blue light coming from the base station. The only problem was connecting the charger to the base. It was tight, and it wasn't easy to remove either. Hopefully this third party charger will extend the life of your [Philips Norelco Arcitec Electric Razor, Clean & Charge, 1050CC] shaver. Note. The photo shows the charging cable next to the base station.
