So when I browsed insta, I kept seeing herringbone necklaces. I kept getting ads from different brands, but the price range was always either $70 to $300 or more, or around $35 plus shipping. So I was looking for a cheaper alternative, maybe to try out this style before buying a quality chain. I bought a 5mm and two 3mm chains. Here are my notes.1. Feels heavy (in a good way), cold at first touch, so far so good.2. As the necklace itself is a little heavy, the clasp feels a bit light but works smoothly as far as I can tell.3. The color is slightly yellower by 1-2 tones compared to my other gold jewelry. It's okay, but if you have light yellow gold jewelry it can create that look, uh, you know what I mean. BUT you won't notice the difference. So just wear it with more yellow jewelry.4. 5mm looks a shade darker than 3mm. Not much can be seen on pictures or in the light.5. As for the color they look very yellow in the pictures but in real life (they still look yellow) but this type of necklace reflects so much light that it changes from white to yellow gold and then to black, when folded and moving . 6. Please note that this is not a super silky herringbone necklace, but the effect is still there. The box and the bag it comes in are cute, maybe not a gift without packaging, but close! The necklace comes in a small thick zipper, care booklet, dust bag and box. All in all: for the price it was worth it and fast thanks to the first-class delivery. If I bought this at another store for over $70 I wouldn't be upset. If it was 150+ I would be a little disappointed in the color. But like I said, there's not much to see when it's on because of the light reflection. So I think it's so good! I wrote some disappointing things about the color but for the price and quality I can't really complain! It's actually a solid 9/10.
