I noticed from one of the negative reviews that the tape didn't stick well. I've used other tapes that have held up much stronger, but they also scuffed our sofa's fabric when I had to remove them. It's slightly sticky, but just enough to hold it in place and not fray the fabric when you take it off. In addition, it protects our cats very effectively from scratches on furniture fabrics. It is very economical and works very well and I would not hesitate to order again if we need it in the future.
