I got this cable and plugged it into an older USB type A the more traditional-looking square USB port and cautiously plugged it into my computer that only seems to have USB C plugs, like magic, my computer saw the legacy printer that was attached to the other end. Now, instead of my having to plug in a USB replicator from USB C to multiple USB B style ports, I can now just plug my cable straight into my computer without having to dig out or plug in my port replicator in order to print something off on my old printer. The cable works as advertised. Good cable.
