Very good. Does what it promises!

The main reason I wanted it was because I often eat hot Donabe and needed something to moderate the heat so it wouldn't damage my table. I have heating pads that can cover the whole table, but I don't want to take them out every third meal! So this cork napkin seemed like a good solution. And the! Neither the table underneath nor the napkin itself was (at least) damaged. And it's VERY attractive. I actually liked the design a lot more than I expected - the photo shown looks cute, but I don't think it's true.
